چکیده

Yukawa interactions of neutrinos with a new light scalar boson $\phi$ can lead to formation stable bound states and systems many ($\nu$-clusters). For allowed values the coupling $y$ mass $m_\phi$, state two would have size larger than $10^{12}$ cm. Bound sub-cm sizes are possible for keV scale sterile $y > 10^{-4}$. $\nu$-clusters we study in detail properties final configurations. If there is an efficient cooling mechanism, these configurations degenerate Fermi gas. We formulate solve equations density distributions $\nu$-clusters. Bound states and the Bekenstein bound

We explore the validity of the generalized Bekenstein bound, S ≤ πMa. We define the entropy S as the logarithm of the number of states which have energy eigenvalue below M and are localized to a flat space region of width a. If boundary conditions that localize field modes are imposed by fiat, then the bound encounters wellknown difficulties with negative Casimir energy and large species number...

Multiple Bound States of Nonlinear Schrödinger Systems

This paper is concerned with existence of bound states for Schrödinger systems which have appeared as several models from mathematical physics. We establish multiplicity results of bound states for both small and large interactions. This is done by different approaches depending upon the sizes of the interaction parameters in the systems. For small interactions we give a new approach to deal wi...

Note on Bound States and the Bekenstein Bound

In this brief note we draw attention to examples of quantum field theories which may hold interesting lessons for attempts to devise a precise formulation of the Bekenstein bound. Our comments mirror the recent results of Bousso (hep-th/03110223) indicating that the species problem remains an issue for precise formulations of this bound.

Relativistic Bound States

In this contribution, I will give a brief survey of present techniques to treat the bound state problem in relativistic quantum field theories. In particular, I will discuss the Bethe–Salpeter equation, various quasi–potential equations, the Feynman–Schwinger representation, and similarity transformation methods for Hamiltonian approaches in light–front quantization. Finally, I will comment on ...

Bound entangled Gaussian states.

We discuss the entanglement properties of bipartite states with Gaussian Wigner functions. For the separability, and the positivity of the partial transpose, we establish explicit necessary and sufficient criteria in terms of the covariance matrix of the state. It is shown that, for systems composed of a single oscillator for Alice and an arbitrary number for Bob, positivity of the partial tran...
